Outside of acting and directing, Alexis is an Artist-Activist who creates spaces, designs projects, and supports building community across the arts and culture sector.

She is the Director of Programs at artEquity, Founder and Producer of the ASU Black Theatre Festival, and Creator of community engagement productions such as Alarum. Alexis is also in the process of launching (X) Theatre Collective, a group of artists committed to the direct investment in the humans that make up community.
